This photo of the 1 World Trade Center spire poking out from beneath a fluffy blanket of clouds was snapped more than a week ago, but the Port Authority just shared it yesterday, and since then it's gone all "viral," so here we are now, basking in its majestic grandeur. It was taken earlier this month by Delta captain Jerry Walsh, who is so freaking adept at flying a jet plane over one of the world's biggest cities that he can also take breathtaking photographs at the same time.

It is a pretty dramatic photo, and we're sure Walsh can steer the plane with his knees just as well—if not better—than his hands. (Kidding, we're well aware that commercial airline pilots are actually just voiceover actors hired to make reassuring announcements to the passengers while computers handle the flying.) Anyway, eat your heart out, Woolworth Building!
