The ballyhooed (and quite polished) Manhattan Spa Castle, which was shut down only a month after it opened, is coming back next week.

DNAinfo reports, "The luxury Spa Castle Premier 57, at 115 E. 57th St., will open expansive three-floor operation at 9 a.m. on June 16 and will stay open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight, the company announced."

Why was the Spa Castle closed anyway? Oh, something about a pesky permit: The Health Department explained on January 14, "We closed Spa Castle in Manhattan yesterday because they were found to be operating without a permit or an approved Safety Plan, which is required for all bathing establishments in New York City." The closing came a few weeks after a woman bumped into a dead body in a hot tub at the Spa Castle in Queens (the 84-year-old man died of natural causes).
