Macy's 85th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade is just two days away and the parade is getting ready to show off dozens of floats; 1,600 cheerleaders/dancers/performance group members; 11 marching bands; and dozens of balloons! There are 44 "novelty/ornament balloons, balloonicles and balloonheads" plus 15 giant character balloons, like Tim Burton's B. Boy and a new Julius the Monkey balloon from Paul Frank. Here's where to see the balloon inflation tomorrow (Wednesday, 11/23):

The balloon inflation starts at 3 p.m. on the Upper West Side, by the American Museum of Natural History. You enter at West 79th and Columbus Avenue and enter the viewing area which takes you south to West 77th, then east to Central Park West, and then up CPW to West 81st Street. Of course, tomorrow's inflation may be a bit soggy.

Returning favorites include Buzz Lightyear, Clumsy Smurf, “Super cute” Hello Kitty, Kermit the Frog, Po (the Kung Fu Panda), Pikachu, Snoopy the Flying Ace, Spider-Man, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Here's a sneak peek of some balloons.
