Remember that whole Lou Reed/Metallica cranky-metal collaboration that you wanted to forget about immediately after you heard about it? It's not going away—especially if you follow Lou Reed's Twitter, where he posted three reminders about the team-up this afternoon with links to the new site:

Reed definitely doesn't look as out of place with the Metallicats as we thought he would—and his sweet chain really ties everything together. Even if they don't have a witty mashed-up band name, we still suggest they title the album something fun, like "Metallica Machine Music."
