There are some great benefits happening around town tonight, we suggest you hit one, or both, up if you have the time.

826NYC is having a superhero fashion show tonight. Models will strut their stuff in newly designed wears by Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Taylor, Jack Spade, Built By Wendy, Kenneth Cole and many others. You'll recognize the models too, and not from Fashion Week. Among them are Samantha Bee, Rob Corddry, and Ed Helms (of The Daily Show) Amy Sedaris (of Strangers with Candy), and Kathleen Hanna (from Le Tigre). The event will be hosted by John Hodgman (author of The Areas of My Expertise) and will include fashion advice from The Incredibles' Edna Mode, a new short film from Patton Oswalt, some commentary from Sarah Vowell, and much more. There will also be a marching band. We can't wait to see some pictures from this event!

Tickets are $25 and $75. Buy tickets here, or we're guessing at the door as well. [$75.00 tickets include priority seating, as well as a private wine reception and silent auction of costumes after the show.]
