The Kim's on 1st Avenue is closing its doors sometime in the next month or so, and the landlord is currently looking for a new tenant. Nothing too original or unique! Rather, something that really fits in with the East Village of 2014. A franchise maybe. One of those cute coffee shops with the mermaid cups. Or perhaps a 7-Eleven is just the ticket! That other 7-Eleven is like a 7 minute walk away. And hey, the TD Bank that took over Mars Bar really seems to know where it's at, maybe one of those. The full listing is below, and no, it's not some sort of sick real estate fan fic. It's real.

"124 First Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets Store 1820 SF approximatel—plus basement storage/office. East side of 1st Avenue. Ideal for Bank, 711, Starbucks, Cafe, Deli, Bakery ASKING $16,500 month Security 4 months Lease term 5 to 10 years."

When Kim's announced their closing of the store, they explained: "The actual reason for our closing is that the lease is up in July and the rent is being raised to an amount we simply can't work with." [via EV Grieve]
