Yesterday, Republicans successfully filibustered a bill including the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," which Lady Gaga chimed in on by saying, "Today was an enormous disappointment, for myself, and for many young American people. Not only because Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was not repealed by our senators, but moreover because legislative procedure is being abused to stop public business, public debates, from happening while America is watching." And at dinner in the East Village last night, she was getting the word out there!
Last night, one reader reported to us, "Lady Gaga is eating dinner at Max's on Avenue B now. Just left the table and she was two over. Her security team of four were two over from her looking like spooks." Apparently it was a popular night at the Italian joint, because Politico reporter Carol Lee was also there. She wrote on Twitter, "Saw @ladygaga last nite talking DADT w friend at Max in East Village, signed my print Politico 'repeal DADT.'" Great, but what was she wearing? Priorities, people!
