Jon Stewart just wrapped up his Daily Show after 16 years, but he's not resting on his heels just yet. The funny man and avowed pro wrestling fan is set to host WWE's SummerSlam at the Barclays Center this Sunday.

For a primer on Stewart's wrestling fandom, here are some key moments from his feud earlier this year with the WWE's human jockstrap Seth Rollins. Throughout the feud, Stewart plays the nebbish, deer-in-headlights role to a T.

Here Stewart is waxing nerdy about his love of wrestling with comedian Kevin Hart, who clearly is not quite as up to speed on the latest WWE plot lines.

At this year's SummerSlam, the geriatric undead monster The Undertaker will have a rematch with MMA fighter Brock Lesnar, who may have spent some time in a CIA laboratory being pumped full of neon green fluid. Here's Stewart responding to Lesnar ending Undertaker's 21-Wrestlemania winning streak in 2014.

In the cosmology of the WWE Universe, SummerSlam is secondary in importance only to Wrestlemania, but it's sold out and airing only on the wrestling promotion's proprietary WWE Network (at 7 p.m.).

There are a lot of wrestling events in the city this week piggybacking off of SummerSlam, and wrestling fans probably already have their tickets to most, but none is weirder than tomorrow night's Brooklyn Cyclones pre-game show at MCU Park in Coney Island. Starting at 5:30 p.m., a handful of WWE wrestlers, including Fandango, whose gimmick is that he's a ballroom dancer, will play softball alongside Good Day NY hosts Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly and other minor celebrities against members of the FDNY and NYPD.
