While usually celebrities come to New York City to disappear amongst the disaffected locals, it seems Jennifer Aniston had the opposite experience. The actress and her boyfriend Justin Theroux have left New York, referring to it as a "fishbowl."

During a recent radio show interview, Aniston said, "We tried New York. It felt like I was [living] in a fishbowl. It was a little rough with the paparazzi." She (actually, really, FOR REAL) added that she gets more privacy at her mansion in Bel Air. As if us commoners may not understand that there may be more privacy at a palatial mansion.

Aniston also explained that, "It didn't feel like the New York I grew up in and knew." Not the one that was swimming in massive, rent controlled apartments, rather the one she lived in as a real teenager. Aniston was born in L.A. and lived in Greece before her family relocated to New York City, where she graduated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

The actress isn't the first to diss New York—in 2008 Madonna called her one time city "boring." But we think a new haircut, making her unrecognizable, could have solved Aniston's "problems."
