Everyone's favorite country music soap opera Nashville returns on September 25th, finally, but if you need your country fix before then we recommend some square dancing to hold you over. Did you know Bryant Park is playing host to some do-si-do-ing this month? (See, New Yorkers really do love all things country.)
From 5:30 to 9 p.m., on September 9th (that's tonight), September 20th, and September 25th, there will be a regular hoedown on the midtown lawn. Country food, music and even a partner if you don't have one are all promised. Dances will be taught all night for newbies, but we recommend you get into practice by doing Miley Cyrus's pre-twerking "Hoedown Throwdown":
