Back in 2008, when Hudson Yards was still just a proposal in Stephen Ross' eye, Wall Street Journal architectural critic Ada Louise Huxtable described some of its buildings as looking "alarmingly like sex toys." Now that Hudson Yards has been fully erected, that imagery is being taken to the next level—as actual Hudson Yards-inspired hot pink sex toys.

Design studio Wolfgang & Hite has crafted the series of dildos and butt plugs, which they are calling XXX-HY—you can see gifs of them with their respective buildings throughout the post. There's a butt plug that resembles The Vessel, a clitoral stimulator shaped like The Shed, and a large dildo modeled after the 10 Hudson Yards skyscraper, among others.

The firm told Dezeen they created the toys to use "humor as a way of critiquing the city and fusing high design with pop culture."

"There's a lot to love in NYC's recent building boom, but the city and developers have been jerking each other off for decades, so naturally we wanted to join in the fun," said Wolfgang & Hite. "Masturbation is a great metaphor for the latest wave of development in New York City."

Each piece was made at a 1-100 scale, and ranges from about eight to 13 inches in length. "One might imagine the dildo city perched on a bedside table or the desk of a high-powered urban planner," the studio said. "We hope to spark public discourse around new methods of design critique and eventually replicate other cities as sex-toy utopias."

Very unfortunately, the dildos are NOT commercially available as of yet; the company sent the prototypes to the New York City planning department and Ross. They are not the first people in NYC to tell billionaire Ross, whose Trump fundraiser this summer sparked a wave of protests and boycotts, to consider fucking himself.
