As usual, Saturday morning found us watching Kristen Shaughnessy doing the weekend news over at NY1. At one point, we looked up from the laptop and were surprised to find her reading the news from one of the interview chairs. For about thirty seconds, she read straight from the sheets in her hand, stopping occasionally and starting over. All the while, we were staring at her rolled up pants and leather boots, and wondering why the sound equipment was draped over the other chair. Weird! Apparently the camera wasn't supposed to be on, because after a little while they started rolling some clips. Hmm-- maybe you have to be a pretty hardcore NY1 fan to appreciate this story.
