Recently we kicked off a series showing New York City neighborhoods between the hours of 5 and 6 a.m., that sometimes surreal hour between closing time and wake up call, when even Times Square gets some shut eye. Most recently photographer Gretchen Robinette visited Williamsburg during that strange pre-dawn hour, specifically Bedford Avenue near the L stop. Click through for a look at all of the bikes and bear-headed mannquins, and you can find the rest of our series here.
