Michel Gondry's followup to The We and the I (yeah, we missed that one too) is Mood Indigo (L'Écume des Jours), a French film adapted from Boris Vian's 1947 novel Froth on the Daydream. Starring Romain Duris, Audrey Tautou (Amelie), and Gad Elmaleh (Midnight In Paris), it's a romantic fable about a couple whose relationship is challenged when the young bride develops a strange illness on their honeymoon after a water lily enters her lung. The trailer is very Michel Gondry, and, like the Playlist, we're guardedly optimistic about this one:

Mood Indigo opens in France on April 24th; no release date for America has been announced.
