We're in the midst of outdoor movie season, and below are all of the movies you can see while sitting under the steamy night sky this week. They are all FREE, but bring your own mosquito spray and picnic blanket. Top picks this week: Heathers and E.T.!


Coney Island Flicks on the Beach (website)

Monday, July 14th, 7:30 p.m.: see E.T. on the beach.

Notes: The movie is screened on a giant 40-foot inflatable screen on the beach at West 10th Street. BYO-picnic.

Bryant Park (website)

Monday, July 14th, lawn opens at 5p.m., movie at sundown: Suddenly, Last Summer will screen on the Bryant Park lawn.

Notes: Get there early for a good spot, this place gets crowded! Blankets are allowed, as is your own food and drink, but vendors will also be available if you want to purchase something (still no alcohol though!).

Tuesday, July 15th, 8 p.m.: The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings will screen in the Putnam Triangle Plaza (at Fulton and Grand).

Wednesday, July 16th, sundown: Zoolander will screen in McCarren Park.
