Welcome back, everyone. If you're reading this right now, it probably means you made to work without getting electrocuted in this dramatic thunderstorm that's blasting through the area. Once you finish toweling off, here are a couple photos of what didn't zap you on your way in. (Send us your lightning shots here.) But seriously, be careful: the OEM's recent history of lightning strikes reminds us that in August 2002, a 25-year-old Manhattan man was killed watching an electrical storm from the roof of a four-story building in Chinatown.
I wanna get struck by lightning to see how it feel but I don't want that shit to kill me :o

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Long Island, Westchester, most of New Jersey and Connecticut until 2 p.m. Heavy thunderstorms, and possibly hail, are expected in NYC throughout the morning, but forecasters expect it to clear up this afternoon. It's like Friday all over again... except it's MONDAY.
I just pissed my pants that lightning was so close.
