Governors Ball is really growing up this year. The festival started just two years ago on Governors Island, boasting bigger name indie acts in their lineup. Since then it has graduated to the less picturesque (but still totally enjoyable) Randalls Island and added some more mainstream acts. And this year they're making a major play to become the biggest festival in New York, possibly the Northeast. Most of the lineup was announced last month, but one headlining slot was left empty—we were awaiting an Atoms For Peace announcement, but the organizers have just announced it's a throwback act: Guns n' Roses.

Axl & Co. (no, not the original lineup) will be joining Kanye West and Kings of Leon in the headlining slots. Also on the bill: Nas, Grizzly Bear, Animal Collective, The Lumineers, The XX, Dinosaur Jr., Kendrick Lamar, Feist, and many more. The event takes place June 7th, 8th, and 9th on Randalls Island, and tickets are already on sale, with 3-day general admission starting at $220.

Now, prepare thyself for disappointment by raising the bar with this full 1988 Gn'R set at the Ritz, when the band was in its prime. Today's Guns n' Roses is a little more aged and... well, everyone's a critic:
