Opening October 23rd, Nasty Baby is a new film centered on a Brooklyn couple, Freddy (Sebastian Silva) and his boyfriend Mo (Tunde Adebimpe), who are trying to have a baby with the help of their best friend, Polly (Kristen Wiig). The film follows the trio as they navigate the idea of creating life while confronted by growing harassment from a menacing local known as The Bishop. As things take a dark turn, their joyous pursuit of parenthood is suddenly clouded.

The film debuted at Sundance to critical acclaim and proceeded to win awards at both the Berlin International Film Festival and Outfest. It stars Sebastián Silva (Crystal Fairy, Magic Magic), Kristen Wiig (SNL, Skeleton Twins), Tunde Adebimpe (frontman of TV on the Radio, Rachel Getting Married), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Mark Margolis (Noah, Breaking Bad) and Reg E. Cathey (House of Cards, The Wire).

Nasty Baby has a natural New York feel, having been filmed mostly at Silva's own Fort Greene apartment—there's hardly a better venue than Nitehawk for an advance screening. Gothamist readers are invited to enter their info in the form below for up to two tickets. Each provides free entry to the screening and Q&A with Sebastián Silva. First come first served.
