Over the years we've gotten some gorgeous glimpses at the caverns 18 stories below Grand Central, as the East Side Access project forges ahead. The project will, eventually, connect the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central Terminal. Now the New York Transit Museum has opened an exhibit documenting it all, with a series of 55 dramatic images from photographer Hiroyuki Suzuki.

Click through for a look at the nation’s largest single infrastructure project to date, through the lens of Suzuki. And head over to the museum before the show closes on October 27th. Admission is free, and they're opened Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
