Ever wanted to curate an exhibition at a major art institution? Now's your chance! This weekend, Brooklyn plays host to GO: a community-curated open studio project, where participants will help pluck a local artist's work from their creative space and put it on display in the Brooklyn Museum.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you'll be visit artist studios all over Brooklyn and vote on your top three favorites using a GO iPhone app, the GO website or via text message. The ten artists with the most votes will be vetted by Brooklyn Museum curators, who will pick at least two of the participating artists to have their work displayed at an m exhibition that will open at the museum's Target First Saturday in December. Voters will also be able to follow the curators' nomination process online, and see how they choose the work they display.

Over 1800 artists are participating in GO borough-wide, so check out their handy map to make your visitation selections. And before you brave the rain and get your vote on, you need to register on GO's to participate in GO, and you're required to "check in" via the GO app or online at at least five studios before you can vote. Happy huntings!
