It's a week after Thanksgiving and you haven't started your holiday shopping yet!? You are so screwed. Luckily you can play catch up this weekend at the copious amounts of fairs, sales and craft shows going on around the city.
First off an annual favorite of ours, the Small Press Book Fair. With about 150 indie presses exhibiting the Fair always has an exceptional selection.
When?: Saturday, December 4, 10am to 6pm // Sunday, December 5th, 11am to 5pm
Where?: Small Press Center, 20 West 44th St
La Superette is another great annual event that boasts original functional art at street cheap prices. You can also find fashion, toys, housewares, accessories, zines, CDs and more. Browse the catalog.

The Fetes de Noel at Bryant Park has about 80 booths with arts, crafts and other assorted gifts. Last year Gothamist bought an inflatable moose head to hang in our country house. We suggest not being drunk while doing your holiday shopping.
When?: Through January 2nd [Monday–Friday: 11am–7pm Saturday and Sunday: 10am–8pm]

Don't want to go above 14? Head to the Union Square Holiday Fair
When?: Through December 24th [Mon-Fri from 11am to 8 pm, Saturdays from 10am to 8pm, and Sundays from 11am to 7pm]
