October is right around the corner, which means Halloween is right around the corner, which means DOG HALLOWEEN is even more right around the corner. The only thing better than morning-after costumed walks of shame are puppies dressed up as bumblebees, F trains, and Bernie Sanders (but not sexy nurses, you don't want your pup to be promoting sexist cliches). To that end, the 26th Annual Tompkins Square Dog Halloween Parade, "the largest dog costume parade in the world," will return in less than a month.

TV personality Giuliana Rancic will be the guest emcee for the event, which takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at Tompkins Square Park on Saturday, October 22nd. No one has to pre-register and anyone (well, any dog in a costume) can participate in the runway portion of the event: "Suggested Donations is $5 at the door. A parade of all contestants and spectators will follow after Best In Show is announced."

Because we know you're chomping at the bit for some ridiculous dog outfits now, you can look back at previous photo galleries from the event in 2015 (see above!), 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011. NEVER FORGET BUTT FACE.
