Game of Thrones has inspired countless memes and internet jokes, gastronomic events, ways to get drunk and ways to get more drunk, and has been parodied by everyone from Saturday Night Live to Sesame Street to Coldplay, of all things. It even meta parodied itself in Arya's Season 6 story arc. Now it's off-Broadway's turn, with Game of Thrones: The Musical arriving at the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Theater Center this fall.

The Times reports that the pun-laden show, which debuted in L.A. earlier this year, focuses on the show's first season, where many of the inciting incidents that led to the deaths of dozens of main characters and some fire-fried infantrymen took place. The soundtrack includes songs entitled "Hello from Winterfell," "The Things I Do For Love," "Dothraki Love Song," and "Heads Will Roll."

And it looks like hat enthusiast George R.R. Martin is part of the show, too. Get back to writing, amirite?

If you need more convincing, there is a cute doggie direwolf.
