Starting tomorrow, May 16, the Film Society of Lincoln Center is launching its new—and free— Summer Talks program, where the public can hear filmmakers discuss their upcoming movies. The first film is Before Midnight, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. The actors collaborated on the script with director Richard Linklater and all three will be there!

The next one is on June 10—and it's Sofia Coppola discussing The Bling Ring, based on the Vanity Fair article chronicling the real-life escapades of Hollywood teens who robbed celebrities homes (Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Lindsay Lohan were among the victims). Emma Watson gets to play Valley Girl thief:

Tickets are free and will be given out an hour before the event. You can see the whole list here (there will be more additions later)—definitely consider the July 11 talk with Ryan Coogler, who directed Fruitvale Station (trailer), based on the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Oscar Grant by a BART transit cop.
