Gather round, Real Housewives of New York lovers, and pour out a white wine spritzer or three to mourn the loss of the founding mothers of the series: Alex McCord and Jill Zarin, along with second-season addition Kelly Killoren Bensimon, have reportedly been fired from the show.

Although Bravo has yet to confirm the news, an "inside source" says the ladies were notified this morning, and it came as a shock to all three. Us Weekly adds that fourth Housewife, Cindy Barshop, could be getting the boot as well. Earlier this year, Real Househusband Simon van Kempen told us that his family "didn't expect to be doing this four seasons in," but we somehow doubt this is what he had in mind.

This leaves SVU-guesting LuAnn de Lesseps, wine-guzzling Ramona Singer and sometimes bankrupt Sonja Morgan to carry the show, along with three yet-to-be-named new Housewives. It'll be alright, ladies—just keep your head up and don't wind up like Danielle.
