Well, you've been waiting for this, right? The Hollywood Foreign Press Association today went and announced the nominees for this year's Golden Globes. Topping out the noms was The King's Speech with seven nods including best film drama, best actor and actress drama (Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter), best director and best screenplay.

The Social Network and The Fighter tied for second with six nominations each, including best film drama. And the rest of the film drama category nominations went to Inception and Black Swan.

Meanwhile, the best movie comedy or musical nominees are Alice in Wonderland, The Kids Are All Right, The Tourist, Red and, uhm, Burlesque (which was also nominated, twice, for best original song).

And since the Globes aren't just about movies, TV noms for best drama went to Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, The Good Wife, Mad Men and The Walking Dead while the best TV comedy nominees are 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, The Big C, Glee, Modern Family, and Nurse Jackie. Big props to Boardwalk, Good Wife, 30 Rock and Nurse Jackie—all of which are shot here in town!

You can see the whole list of nominees here. Meanwhile, since we know you were worried about who was going to get the coveted title of Miss Golden Globe, that honor has been given to Joe Mantegna and Arlene Vrhel's daughter Gia Mantegna. And now you know.
