There's an age-old proverb that says, "You can't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes"—but if you managed to snag a pair of Kanye West's Nike Air Yeezy 2's today, you can judge him for his Twitter rants all you want!

Today, Nike released between 3,000 and 5,000 pairs of West's Air Yeezy line's newest incarnation for sale in the United States, and fans and footwear enthusiasts alike have gone to some pretty great lengths to get their feet into one of the a few hundred pairs up for grabs in New York. Some customers have been camping outside the Nike flagship in SoHo and other local shoe stores for days. "I actually got passes to NY Sports Club up the street," Francisco Torres, who cemented his first-in-line spot at a Harlem sneaker store last Sunday, told the Post. "I would go and take showers every morning and then come back to the line."

Costing $245, the sneakers feature glow-in-the-dark soles, snake-textured leather, spiked heels and an endorsement from the self-proclaimed "true poet" of our time. Missed your shot at picking the sneaks up in-store? You might be able to order them from this Air Yeezy fan site, though we can't speak for their promise of "fase delivey."
