Former President Bill Clinton—er, make that Darrell Hammond—is suing over injuries he received during a June car crash in Sag Harbor, claiming he can barely stand, let alone work.
When the accident occurred in June, reports said that Hammond was bruised but "seemingly doing fine." Now, Hammond's lawyer is suing the driver of the other car for unspecified damages, saying "He suffered fractured ribs and a severe lower back injury... It affects his ability to perform. He's in pain, and had to cancel many performances. He can't fly and he can't stand up."
Hammond had to cancel two performances of his starring role in Tru, a play about Truman Capote, after the accident, which raises the question... who cast Darrell Hammond to play Truman Capote?
