Fun, Fearless, Female Ooh, publishing world cat fight: Page Six says that the authors of the Nanny Diaries, who were being honored by that stronghold of feminine empowerment AND looking cute to land that guy, Cosmopolitan, reported slammed Cosmo and called it "tacky" and wondered if its readers "even read" in an email exchange. Of course, this email was conveniently found printed out in the purse of one of the authors, which is in turn was coincidentally found by people trying to figure out whose bag it was. I personally love Cosmo - it makes no pretenses, is very straightforward, if sometimes unbelievable in some of its stories, and is incredibly fun to read, even if it doesn't seem I like I'm the exact target at times.
