Last week when we found out that Colony Music, the beloved store that's been in Times Square for 64 years, would be closing, we noticed that a documentary on the place had been Kickstarted years ago. Filmmaker Sara Cross got in touch with us shortly after with an update, saying, "I have been working on this film for four years and besides that small Kickstarter have been funding it completely on my credit cards. I am desperate to raise the real money we need to finish... and trying to shoot as many days as possible until they close." A few hours later, we received another message from Cross, announcing a new campaign to raise the funds via Indiegogo—she added, "I basically have to raise 50k to finish shooting in the next 8 weeks." You can contribute to her campaign right here, and check out the trailer for her documentary on the store, called Manhattan Lullaby, below.
