Oscar night sketches aside, we haven't heard much from Christopher Guest since his slightly-underwhelming 2006 film For Your Consideration. But there's been some exciting news in the world of the 5th Baron Haden-Guest lately: last month, HBO picked up an eight-episode order of his new show, Family Tree. And now it's been announced that several Guest regulars will be joining him for the show.

Fred Willard, Michael McKean and Ed Begley Jr. are all joining the show in recurring roles. They all play relatives and neighbors of main character Tom Chadwick (played by Chris O'Dowd), who starts exploring his family heritage after losing his girlfriend and his job, and inheriting a mysterious box from a great aunt he never met. So now we just have to sit back, clean our My Dinner With Andre action figures, wait patiently for news that some of his other regulars—say, Parker Posey, Catherine O'Hara, Jane Lynch, Eugene Levy and Bob Balaban—are going to join in as well.
