Roy Orbison eyewear fan and R&B "hipster" Chris Brown performed souped up auto-tuned hits from his album F.A.M.E. on the Today Show yesterday, and apparently it was the largest crowd to ever show up for a taping. But Brown, who trashed Good Morning America back in March and always has a chip on his shoulder, indignantly responded to a perceived "backlash" against his Today show appearance with the Tweet:
He promptly deleted the message, but as we know, what gets on the internet, stays on the internet.
Besides his misspelling of "Casey Anthony," Brown's statement seems a little puzzling given the media's scathing treatment of people like Charlie Sheen and the woman who is being vilified for her "Not Guilty" verdict for murdering her two-year-old child. Comedian Joe Mande perceptively responded, "I agree with @chrisbrown. He deserves the same level of respect we show Charlie Sheen and Kacey [sic] Anthony."
Of course Brown is acting with typical bravado, boasting, "I keep my head high and my middle finger higher! I love team breezy. Let's just laugh it off cuz they mad. Ahahahahaha.."
