If you're longing for a summer music festival that has absolutely nothing to do with Randall's Island, then you might want to pack a tent, rent a van, and drive to Manchester, Tennessee for Bonnaroo 2017. This year, the four-day music and camping fest will feature Chance the Rapper, Lorde, The Weeknd, and U2, who will perform a special Joshua Tree anniversary set during their headlining slot.
Also on the 2017 bill are the XX, Major Lazer, Travis Scott, Teagan & Sara, Crystal Castles, Car Seat Headrest, Noname, Future Islands, BADBADNOTGOOD, D.R.A.M., Flume, Flatbush Zombies, and many more. In addition to the traditional music acts, Bonnaroo will once again feature a silent disco, comedy theater, and plenty of on-site art.
This year's 'Roo is scheduled to go down June 8-11, which means if you want, you can see Chance and Lorde at Governors Ball, then see them again six days later in Manchester! Tickets for the four-day fest start at $324.50 (plus fees), and camping are just under $60 per car. You can purchase both here.
Oh, and we almost forgot: Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing, of course.
