Tickets are now on-sale for this year's Stand Up For Heroes benefit show at the Beacon Theatre, and they have put together quite a lineup for the comedy and music show: Bruce Springsteen, the Max Weinberg Big Band, Jon Stewart, Rickey Gervais, Mike Birbiglia, Robin Williams and Patton Oswalt will all perform!
Tickets are expensive, ranging from $250-$5000, but it's for a damn good cause: Bob Woodruff, the ABC reporter who was injured in Iraq, is raising all the money toward more than 40 veterans' organizations collected under the umbrella of his Bob Woodruff Foundation. This will be the sixth annual benefit event, put on in conjunction with the New York Comedy Festival.
Highlights from last year's event included Stewart introducing Springsteen as "the illegitimate lovechild of James Brown and Bob Dylan" and Springsteen covering "Long Tall Sally." Below, watch clips of Springsteen tell a bad penis joke and play "Open All Night," and then tell another bad dirty joke and play "Spirit In The Night."
