Things are slowly getting better around the city in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, but there are still hundreds of thousands of people without power, and hundreds of people who have lost their homes because of the storm. To help with relief efforts, NBC will be hosting a live Sandy benefit tomorrow night, starring a bunch of musicians—most prominently, the Boss of New Jersey himself, Bruce BROOOOOCE Springsteen, who has some experience with these types of events.

"Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" will air on NBC at 8 p.m. EST on Friday. Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting, Christina Aguilera and Billy Joel will all perform; Matt Lauer will be hosting, and Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon will make appearances as well.

The special will be aired on NBC, USA Network, SyFy, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, E!, Style Network, G4 and more—it will also be live-streamed on NBC.com. All money from the event will go to Red Cross; here are some other ways you can help out if you're looking to contribute money or time this week.
