Tomorrow night, Brooklyn Bowl is hosting a benefit concert for the victims and families of the musicians involved in last week's triple murder-suicide in Bushwick. A Show For The Yellow Dogs will feature performances and DJ sets from Nada Surf, Kyp Malone, The Men, Habibi, Paul Banks, members of The Clean, and Here We Go Magic, among others.

Brothers Soroush Farazmand and Arash Farazmand, both members of The Yellow Dogs, were allegedly shot and killed by Ali Akbar Mohammadi Rafie in their home at 318 Maujer Street. Ali Eskandarian, a musician and writer who sometimes performed with The Yellow Dogs was also killed in the incident, while another resident of the building was wounded. The two surviving members of The Yellow Dogs, Siavash Karampour and Koory Mirz, were not in the building at the time of the shootings.

Rafie had reportedly been angry that he had been kicked out of another band that was in the same clique of Iranian expatriates as The Yellow Dogs, and made homicidal and suicidal threats on Facebook prior to the shooting.

"In memory of Ali Eskandarian, Arash and Soroush Farazmand, join us 5 PM on monday at Cameo Gallery…for a candlelight ceremony," The Yellow Dogs wrote on their Facebook page. "Afterwards, we will walk to Brooklyn Bowl, where some of their favorite acts will be performing in their honor."
