The Times Circuits section has an article about blog endorsers, bloggers who accept gifts, money, etc. from company in exchange for positive feedback from the blogger and play on the blog. Of course, these bloggers have some influence over their audiences. Maybe someday Gothamist will get big and we can sell out. Nah...it'll never happen.
