The New York Comedy Festival doesn't return until this November, but tickets will be going on sale August 11th (though Facebook presales start today). (Remember when you just called a telephone number to buy tickets to things?)
The five day festival, which runs from November 5th through 9th, is packed with big names—amongst them: Marc Maron, Amy Schumer, Tig Notaro, Bill Cosby, Nick Offerman, Bill Maher, and Hannibal Buress. The shows will take place all over Manhattan, from Carnegie Hall to Beacon Theater to NYU's Skirball Center.
The fest is in its 11th year, and was founded by Caroline Hirsch, owner of Carolines on Broadway.
