As we've previously said, one of NYC's best galas is the Film Society of Lincoln Center's annual Charlie Chaplin Award Gala. This year's honoree is Barbra Streisand, the pioneering actress, director, writer and producer. (Oh, and she sings.) And, to present her with the award, the Film Society landed former President Bill Clinton.

Clinton has long admired Stresiand—she sang at his Inaugural Gala, he attended her intimate 2009 gig at the Village Vanguard—and she's supported his causes, like donating $1 million to the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation. Relive the innocent Clinton years and listening to Babs belt out a few songs—it was back when Hillary Clinton was "only" a First Lady:

Tickets for the tribute and the champagne reception will go on sale next month.
