Over the weekend Eugene Mirman held his annual comedy fest in Brooklyn, which delivered not only laughs, but also some real talk about robots—here's a report from the StarTalk event, featuring astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Mr. Mirman, a guy who makes robots that are sent to Mars!, and Jason Sudeikis.

The topic of the night was Robots (moreso robotic spacecraft), and guests included Eugene Mirman, Stephen Gorevan (founder of Honeybee Robotics, a Manhattan-based company that developed robotic devices for the various Mars missions), Jason Sudeikis, comedian W Kamau Bell and of course Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Various robotic spacecraft were discussed throughout the show, everything from Voyager probes to the robots on Mars. At one hilarious point in the show, Neil disagreed with Stephen on whether certain spacecraft should even be considered a "robot." Jason Sudeikis responded to Neil's remarks with, "There's nothing worse than a nerd bully!" and W Kamau Bell said, "Don't let him Pluto you, Stephen... don't let him Pluto you!" (referring to how Neil demoted Pluto at the AMNH). You can catch it all in these clips from the night.

The next StarTalk Live show with Eugene and Neil is on November 4th at Town Hall.
