We always thought New York City manhole covers were pretty cool-- but after checking out this collection of Japanese manhole cover art sent in by Mary, we want to commit seppuku in shame! Our manholes look positively fugly in comparison! Of course, our manholes do produce some fairly rad tattoos. And of course, the ConEd Millenium Manhole Cover has some rabid fans.
