A quick PSA for pet-owners planning on dressing up your furry friends for the 13th Annual Great PUPkin Dog Costume Contest in Fort Greene Park this weekend: due to tomorrow's impending nor'easter, the contest is being rescheduled to Sunday. But it will still be absolutely freaking adorable!

The PUPkin Contest is organized by the Fort Greene Park Users and Pets Society (PUPS), whose founder Kath Hansen has seen some very creative costumes over the years (most notable: a dog with a working water fountain strapped to his back). This year's contest, which has a suggested donation of $5 per dog, will be raising money for two animal rehab centers, Wild Bird Fund and Sean Casey Animal Rescue.

Here's a look at some of the costumed pups of years past—this year, we're hoping for some Anthony Weiner weiner dogs and more pug pumpkins, please!
