Comedy shows in New York this weekend are going to be just like Debra Messing’s hair– all over the place but still really good. Here’s the rundown of what not to miss:

Saturday April 30
This Saturday night will be a one night only affair with Holiness, Sri Swami The Guru Pitka, who may or may not be Mike Myers. “A Dharma-Talk and Sutra: The Four Laws of Happiness" features Guru Pitka, an altar ego of Myers’ who was left on the cutting room floor of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Reservations for the show are by email request only. RSVP: and please include a phone number. Looks like this guy is the real deal because as we all know, an invitation to Gmail much like enlightenment, is hard to obtain.

The John Houseman Theater @ 10:30pm
450 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Aves. $10

In case we don’t return your calls, it’s because Gothamist will be having a three night stand starting this Sunday with Eugene Mirman and Bobby Tisdale.
They will be hosting three nights of Invite Them Up, the acclaimed East Village comedy/ variety show, at Pianos. The duo is recording an album for Comedy Central Records. With various guests over three nights, the tapings will feature many of the people who have made Invite Them Up a good time. Seriously, we aren’t taking any calls until Wednesday. Don’t even try.
