The Emmys showed the nomination love to Glee, Mad Men, Lost, Modern Family, The Good Wife, and many more programs. Glee's Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele got lead acting nods, while Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch were recognized in the supporting category (if Lynch doesn't win, it'll just be another Emmy screwup), as part of Glee's 19 nominations. And here's a show that we'd like to see win: Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show was nominated for best variety or sketch comedy program (as well as best writing for variety or sketch comedy), while Letterman and Leno's show weren't.

Mad Men's Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery and Elisabeth Moss all got nominations, as didLost's Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn (as the Smoke Monster!) and Michael Emerson. Other notable nods: Amy Poehler for Parks & Recreation, Jim Parsons for The Big Bang Theory, and Betty White for her SNL hosting gig. Notable snubs: Entourage wasn't nominated for best comedy (yay!), no Law & Order pity nod for best drama (boo) and Modern Family's Ed O'Neill was the only adult cast member not to get a nomination (can the Academy not forgive him for playing Al Bundy?!). Here's a list of major categories; here's the full list.
