Yesterday the Space Shuttle Enterprise made its way over to the Intrepid, where it will be open to the public starting on July 19th. Until you're able to touch it with your own hands, click through for photos from the scene yesterday, when the ol' gal was lifted from a barge and brought on to the flight deck. Photographer Katie Sokoler tells us the process took hours, and "many people came out and stood in the sun to watch it get lifted... some people even whipped out bathing suits and tanned while watching!"
