2005_04_arts10thfloor.jpgOn the 10th floor of 2 West 13th Street lives the department of Design and Technology of Parsons. This week begins the second edition of the student exhibition from the 10th floor, called - of course - the 10fl Show. These projects explore new aesthetic sensibilities by means of technologies, express concerns about the social and cultural conditions in which we live, and strive to create meanings in a highly complex and polemic society.

The opening, which is tonight, will feature multiple live performances - the exhibition itself will include games, installations and new media artworks. Curated by Zhang Ga and composed of works drawn from the current BFA and MFA students as well as alum of Parsons. This show will be on view through April 19th.

So come check it out tonight, opening night, from 6 to 8pm. It's free and open to the public at the Chelsea Art Museum [556 West 22nd Street].
