It sounds like a Project Runway challenge: create a look Princess Grace would have worn. However, the six gowns that are currently being displayed in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue were created by some of the top designers -- each being paired with a specific look to be reinterpreted in a modern way.

The last new Project Runway was practically two weeks ago, but thanks to Bravo rerunning it, we could relive it many times. It was full of twists: Two previously kicked-off winners got to reappear and fight for a place in the final four (well, besides Keith) and the outfit would have to be black-and-white and all the material had to be used - even scraps! It's debatable which spooked people more - Angela's "sad eyes," Vincent's "crazy eyes," or using all the fabric. Some of our thoughts:

While last week's Project Runway couture challenge itself wasn't satisfying, the outcome was well worth it. To see Vincent "Everything I do turns me on" Libretti leave has been, well, liberating, because we don't have to worry about him walking around in his boxers on TV ever again. Unless they make him do it on the reunion show. Anyway, here are our thoughts on the episode:

Fashion Week is upon us once again, and even outside of Bryant Park it's hard to not notice. Coinciding with Fashion Week, the Museum at FIT opens a new show, Love and War: The Weaponized Woman.

Two weeks into June means the wedding season is in full swing, and this past weekend, Mayor Bloomberg's eldest daughter, Emma Bloomberg, married her Princeton sweetheart, Chris Frissora. Emma Bloomberg has been active in her father's election campaign and other city projects, working as an unpaid aide; we imagine she'll be working on his reelection campaign as well. The details about her wedding at her mother's North Salem estate Saturday: Her dress was a Zac Posen dress of lavender, sage and aquamarine lace" - perfect for the casual affair she wanted (that's little sis Georgina on the left of Mayor B, in a bridesmaid outfit of a tanktop and skirt); food was by Daniel Boulud (short ribs, tapas, mashed potatoes) and Nobu (sushi, natch); reggae music by the Easy Star All Stars. The Mayor married the couple on Friday night at Gracie Mansion, because he only has the power to marry people in New York City. And while Gracie Mansion ain't fit for Bloomberg to live it, it's where the rehearsal dinner was held, with ribs from Blue Smoke.

Fashion week is in full swing in New York, celebrating the irritatingly recurring time of year that all of the self-congratulatory super-socialites take the opportunity to stop patting themselves on the back and pat each other for awhile.  Last night, Betsy Johnson took the opportunity to share the limelight with the Great-Uncle of Glam, John Cale, the founding member of the Velvet Underground, to celebrate the release of his new record, "HoboSapiens."

Demi Moore has carved out a niche with the 20-something men. Not only is she, uh, "dating" Ashton Kutcher, 22 year old designer Zac Posen loves her. (Luckily for Posen, he is gay, so he doesn't have to be Demi's lapdog...he just needs to give her free clothes.) In Vogue, where she is photographed with Posen (left), he says ''She's my idol, she's so sensual and strong. I loved that she took on all of those empowering roles." Apparently he cried when he first watched Ghost at age 10. Brother and, damn, Gothamist is getting old.
