A Brooklyn grandmother rented a VHS copy of Austin Powers at the Borough Park library branch for her grandkids to watch, and someone had spliced it with "long pornographic scenes" during the credits, The Post reports. Esther Klein put in a call to assemblyman Dov Hikind about the x-rated rental, and he's now demanding local libraries ban VHS. Here we were worried about the sand when the real danger to our children is the local library! Hikind declared, "This is unbelievable. The bottom line is that the local library can be unsafe for young children. It's pretty sick stuff." He added that children can psychologically suffer forever from this type of exposure. But what about grandma renting a PG-13 movie (for nudity and sex-related dialogue/humor) with a character named Alotta Fagina (pictured) in it for her 7-year-old grandkid? Maybe there should be some scaremongering about the real enemy: grandmas! Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Library is all, "we have the problem under control and will remove the tape."

The recession is making the adult entertainment industry increasingly competitive, and many employers in the field say they're flooded with applications from college-educated women who, until recently, held down white-collar jobs. Gus Poulos, the manager of Sin City gentleman's club in midtown, recently received 85 responses to a Craigslist job posting in just one day; he tells the AP, "You're seeing a lot more beautiful women who are eligible to do so many other things." A spokesperson for Rick's Caberet notes that 20 to 30 women a week are applying for jobs at the New York club, twice as many as last year's average. And Rebecca Brown, a new stripper in Chicago, says she earns more in one night than she used to make in a week as a trainer and bartender. The new job just took a little getting used to: "It is like giving a speech, but instead of imagining everyone naked, you're the one who's naked."

Aspiring actors, look now further than the Morgan L stop in Williamsburg for your big break! This flier advertises casting for a little film called: "Niki Gets Lost In BushDick." The plot is pretty simple: Niki stumbles upon a band whilst wandering around "BushDick" and (to put it mildly) ends up "sleeping with" them, all, at once. Copyranter guesses that the band must be indie rock; perhaps some real life Brooklyn band porn names are in order. Yeah, Say Her? The XXX Affair? Either way, can't wait for the soundtrack!
