Windows Live Local is trying to promote its maps with "CelebFavorites"-- annotated maps of a bunch of different cities by various stars. We're not that impressed-- they've only got one map of NYC, by the Yankees hot-shot third baseman Alex Rodriguez. In it, he details his love for expensive restaurants, expensive hotels, and expensive stores (A-Rod looooves Bergdorfs!)-- but you don't get a sense that he gets out much into more interesting neighborhoods. Of course, if you want to know where A-Rod is really hanging out, you should be reading Gawker's Stalker-- it might be terrible and immoral, but at least it covers downtown. more ›
