Obviously, meteorologists who predicted 1-3" of snow for yesterday win over the ones claiming that 5-7" would hit the NYC region. The lack of snow in city parks disappointed some: One dad, in Prospect Park with his kids and their sleds ready, told the Post, "We thought there was going to be 3 to 6 inches, but we got 3 to 6 centimeters." However, there was ice (watch out while you're walking outside!), and AccuWeather's Mike Pigott warns of a deep chill for this week, "There is extreme cold coming.
